In Mrs. Rosenberg's classroom, the students complete a lot of worksheets. She modifies the worksheets to fit student's needs, but I noticed that the students loved working on the computers to complete their math assignments. I was unable to observe during their English and writing time, but I thought it would be great to provide an electronic resource for students to write along with different format options. The program is called Printing Press, and it was found on the website readwritethink.org. Students are able to create writing pieces in a flyer, brochure, or newspaper format. This is helpful to students who have trouble writing in the paragraph format, and teaches them of different formats information occurs. Mrs. Rosenberg can also use this website to create posters for her classroom. As an example, I re created a poster she had in her classroom.
